Sri Raghavendra Gou Ashram is an NGO, established in the year 1974 having IT exemption under section 80G valid up to 31/03/2026 and renewal already applied for. Our Gou Ashrama is blessed to function under the divine blessings & guidance from Sri Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Mahaswamiji of Sri Ramachandrapura Matha.

This Goushala is located on the outskirts of Bangalore and just about 45 kms away. Situated in Gangapura village, Yeshwanthapura post, Malur - Hoskote road, Malur - 563130.
Area:
Goushala spread across in 10 acres of land and easily accessible and very few minutes to main road, making it a very convenient place for people, vehicle to come into Goushala. Area is naturally landscaped, making it a good place to visit.
This Goushala is blessed and guided by his holiness Sri Raghaveshvar Bharati Maha Swamiji and continuously monitored by other trustees.
Goushala and its Objective:
Goushala has grown and growing in size year on year. A total of 302 cattle as on 29/11/2025 are being sheltered and fed here. Goushala has gained popularity due to its unique identification of having 100% Indian breed of cattle. Eight different breed cattle are sheltered. Main objective of Goushala is protect, promote and conserve Indian breed of cattle, support to farmers for natural, chemical free (organic) farming and agriculture. We conduct meetings, host several seminar and lecture to support the cause.
Present day challenges and initiatives planned:
Main problems of running the Goushala are many out of which, manpower, infrastructure and finance are main challenges faced. Goushala is continuously striving for having good shed with facilities to overcome place crunch due to growing number of cattle. Providing good feed, fodder, grass are foremost important need which is being managed by keeping a tab on efficient supply chain. To take care of the need of capital and day today running of the Goushala is being taken care and dependent on public support and participation along with funding by company social responsibility initiatives.
Challenges are many. Initiative taken are many and planned developments are many. This Goushala is calling out for all to visit, see the yeoman service rendered and support us in our work.
